The yellow panels are dyed with Yellow Onion skins, the interior side and one exterior panel being dyed with a shibori technique. The exterior is coated with beeswax to add structure, stiffness, and water-resistance.
The textile is plainweave Cotton, and the webbing straps are Hemp.
